So, my computer's still down, but someone recently told me about
FastStone, which allows me to do a bit more than Picasa, including
re-size photos!  It obviously doesn't allow me to do what Photoshop
does, but it's a huge improvement.

The other day I showed you a casual portrait I took of Canadian author
Michael Ondaatje.  Here he is again, this time the rendering's a bit
more to my liking.  And, if you click on the photo, you'll see a
proper screen-sized rendition:
