Thanks. Not sure I want to be too intimate with a cow (although I suppose I have
been with a few already!), but each to his own.

Me too, but I am also struck by how accurate and truthful many of the paintings
are, and what great vision the painters had. I think there is an superb book to
be had out of this blog, coupled with some writing about the nature of art,
imitation, photography, the human condition. And so on. For example, look at the
photos paired with the Pollocks. Would any photographer have seen and taking
those photos if Pollock and other abstract artists hadn't made their paintings?
I doubt it. But look too at how much the photographs add to our appreciation and
understanding of the paintings. I really hope they bring out a book.
