If you're going to do product shots you'll need to show more DOF than this. That's where view cameras come into play.

PS, All shots taken using the D700, SB-600 in shoot through umbrella,
& AF500 FTZ in optical slave mode on the background. The first 6 with
the 70-200mm f2.8, the rest with the Voigtlander 125mm f2.5 Macro.

PPS, I reckon I could get a job doing product shots for DPR :-D
