I agree with Bob --
soften it up some, if you can without making it look like a totally doctored piece.

OTOH - if you shoot something you are not pleased with yourself (i.e., if you have to ask someone
else how good it is) then you might as well discard it. :-)

I look at the photo and love how sharp the flower is.  The background
bokeh seems a little harsh, but at the same time it doesn't bother me
that much. This was shot in 2006 with a cheapass Sigma 28-80 macro zoom
lens on my old *istD.

What do you think?  I wonder if it would benefit from digitally
softening up the bokeh.
