GESO: Cyclocross Nationals - Bike Racing

The annual Cyclocross National Championships were held here about 15  
minutes from my home over the last 4 days. They got really lucky! The  
course was quite muddy from melted snow early in the week, the amount  
of practice was severely restricted to preserve the course. But a  
strong south wind warmed things up and dried it out. So the  racing  
was pretty much ideal conditions. I officiated one of these 4-5 years  
ago in bitterly cold temperatures, this was much more benign. This  
morning it was about 60°F, wind shifted to out of the north, down to  
30°F by mid-day, currently is at 12°F and still headed down!  My wife  
and I had only time for a few hours yesterday afternoon - a small  
selection of shots here.
