Great shot of the cat.
thanks - pretty lucky, ctually
I like Barry's campaign headquarters as well!
Hehe! Barry wouldn't approve - the gal whose shop it is , while
Goldwater IS her name, is a staunch Obama
supporter... she even is selling clothing and jewelery that is hand made
and bears his visage... I give her
vintage clothes to sell now and then on consignment.... the gallery I
have called 'fashion on a rainy afternoon"
was done for her, too.
there is another shot I took from the window next to the one a selected
to show... more interesting, perhaps.

Both pretty noisy - but not anymore than the Canon at that speed and
degree of underexposure.
I should have done some more experimenting there but I had the window
actually open for those
and I was worried about curious kitty jumping up on the sill.
The camera was on a mini tripod for the cat shot, as well.

OK drum roll .... I got the Optio Z10
Paid $124 - which was within my budget - and bought a 2gig card for $10
I quite like it so far -- except holding it steady is hard for me
unless I'm shooting really fast.
... I took the shots below with camera on a mini tripod
from my window tonight:

and....

There are quite few things I need to work out and it seems to me
the battery gets used up quickly, but
it is fine for my purposes and the price was definitely right give
it's capabilities...
If there was a pool one which one I was gonna buy, Joe McAllister
should win since he recommended it
But I also didn't ahve a lot of choice at B&H - the others taht
looked good cost more and the only other one
That I even considered (because i could set ap priority ) had other
drawbacks - forgotten now.
I could even take a little video with it... but I'm trying to resist
that temptation
Thanks to all for input...
