Hi Luiz,
Yes. Back in 1971 or 1972, the Stratos was my first contact with rally
racing. I still recall reading an article in a boys' magazine, introducing
the (then) new Lancia Stratos. In that excellent article, the new car was
compared to the Fulvia HF and the author explained the many improvements of
the new concept, for a car purposedly designed and built to win world
rallyes. There was also an introduction to Sandro Munari, the rally champion
who was successfully going to drive the car after contributing to its
development.
I also remember tracing out a cut-out drawing of the Stratos as a basis for
developing my own dream car, which turned out not so different from the
original one (just a bit longer for a more pronounced hood and other minor
changes). Think of a 12-years old buddy doing that! Can you feel the
enthusiasm of being a young designer?
Cheers,
Dario

Great pics, from a great car - and it's amazing to realize it's being so
long. Dario, I bet you felt like a child during that time warp...
