Ah, but why? I've just about given up on optical storage
(although I sometimes wonder about Blu-Ray).

As a terabyte of storage can now be bought for around $120 (or less),
why bother with trying to organise your external storage into chunks
that fit onto one DVD; just get another hard drive and make duplicates
of everything. That's what I did a month or so back - replicated my
current 500GB external drive with an identical unit.
