I have M50/1.4, A50/1.4 and A50/1.7 (one may guess I'm a 'standard' lens
fan. In fact I am. :-)). I think M-series lens is a bit softer wide
open, but this actually helps to render out-of-focus parts of the image
(AKA bokeh) softer and thus more pleasant to my eyes. It does also have
somewhat cooler color balance, probably due to coating differences
between M and A series.
