Kind of the opposite for me; I gave my GF a Manfrotto 190XPROB to use with her K10D. My Christmas indulgence is a used F85/2.8 Soft Focus lens from KEH. The exchange rate is still fairly poor but even then it works out cheaper than buying one locally.
