What I need, is to find a web site / document / book that can get me off the ground, with explaining what ISO/shutter/aperture/exposure/etc.. are, how how they relate to each other, and affect each other, and the picture

Hi Tony: Welcome to the list! I highly recommend "Exposure & Lighting for Digital Photographers Only" by Michael Meadhra & Charlotte K.Lowrie. Very comprehensive & smart, with tons of pic examples illustrating textual points and tips. Trust me, you won't be sorry you bought this book, especially since you're in the process of learning about the great triangle: ISO/shutter/aperture! Cheers, Christine
