I've got two of them, the S1 f3.5 (second version), and third version f2.8~4.0. I don't use the second version much, but it's not worth trying to unload it since I paid about $70 for it, (like new in original packaging), but the f2.8~4.0 is just too valuable when I need a relitively fast zoom. I find it to be at least as sharp as any other ~200mm lenses I have and the SMC Pentax F 70~210mm 4.0~5.6 hunts so much that it's effectivly manual focus in anything less than bright sunlight, so the Vivitar becomes my default medium-long telephoto.
