No, I'd probably hate one. But then I own a Miata, which is what the LBCs (Little British Cars) should've been in the first place. One of my friends races a Triumph Spitfire. After years of thrashing with the Spitfire engine and suspension, he swapped them for the same items (engine, trans, front susp, rear susp) from a Miata. The only thing left that's original is the bodywork. But no more thrashing, and it's running for every event. Quite a different experience than the "all original" Spitfire he started with. :-)

Is the Miata drive-train homologated for the Spitfire?

I've driven both the Sprite and the Miata - I'd rather have the Sprite. I can change gears without crashing my knee against the steering wheel when I lift off the gas in the Sprite.

And I ain't that tall.
