The last thing you want to do is to fiddle around with any lens changes.  If
you're going to rent a DA* 16-50, I highly recommend renting a DA* 50-135
and a second body if you can.  Put one lens on each camera and have them
both handy.  You can swap out one of the lenses for your fast 50 at the
reception if you want.

Finally, get your gear ahead of time and practice with it!  Run around the
house and take pictures of vases or something, but play with the gear!  You
really, really want to focus on the action at the wedding and not on
figuring out unfamiliar lenses....
