I dropped off some film at the camera store today and on the way out the door noticed
an ME Super with attached 50/1.4 SMC-M lens on the consignment shelf. I was running
late to a meeting and couldn't stop to examine it but sitting there in the glass case
both the body and lens looked pretty much immaculate. So now I've been daydreaming
about it all afternoon.

Two questions:

Doesn't $125 for the camera and lens sound like an awfully good price for a clean
example? That must mean there's a little something wrong with it.

Would the ME Super make a good camera for battery-free "B" operation attached to my
telescope? My ZX-M would probably kill the batteries pretty quick in that service.
Also the ME Super may have a bit brighter viewfinder.

Man, I need to spend another hundred bucks on camera stuff right now like I need
another hole in my head. I must be losing my mind...
