So tell me, Godfrey. Were you a Pen FT fan as well back in the day? Or
were you too young then?
Loved it. Carried the whole kit with me for a couple of years. Tri-x,
for those grainy fashion shots that were so popular in the 60s.

There's no such thing as a crop factor. Field of view is a property
of a focal length combined with a format. Normal on 35 film is 50mm,
normal on FourThirds is 25mm, normal on 645 is 75mm, etc. That's all.
My FourThirds cameras include field of view choices from 89 to 4.4
degrees on the diagonal, using lenses with focal lengths from 11 to
280 mm. A Pentax M50/1.4 provides an excellent long-portrait-tele
field of view.
80-90% of my G1 photos to date have been made with the 25mm lenses I
have. A near perfect kit for the G1, for my photography, will have
the lenses 7-14/4, 20/1.7, 25/2.8 (and f/1.4), 40/1.4 and 75/2.5 in
it. I don't have them all yet ... two aren't available yet ... but
that's where it's going.
