Snarge?

Start up a jet engine (you do have one lying around, right?)

Throw a bird in the front (the feathered, flying kind, wiseguy).

Now shut off the jet and clean out all the feathers and other bits of bird that are in the workings of the engine.

That stuff is "snarge". I heard about it on the news last week after the airliner crash in New York. There are people who study snarge full time, trying to work out what kind of bird any given sample came from.
