Well, yes - that's why I included it my list of 4WD vehicles :-)
Oops, I aparently missed that fact.
I was the resident engineer at the St Louis Assembly plant that built the
Aerostar. The AWD version was the best we built IMO.
It seems that they were generally received well by the people in areas that
could really use them - the northeast, northwwest & Alaska. Initially the
AWD version owned that market, a shame we stopped producing them.

When you're taking a group of girl scouts winter camping you
want something with a lot of seats (seven, in the Aerostar),
and a lot of capacity for all the backpacks, etc. (which is
why we chose the XL extended-length variant). But it was a
very versatile vehicle - it seated four in comfort in their
own individual seats, or we could remove everything except
the two front seats and have enough space to carry an 8x4
sheet of wallboard flat on the floor.
The Range Rover was great for getting to the wilderness
camp sites (having an emergency vehicle is a requirement
for the age groups we were taking camping), and for hauling
the old pop-up camper (2500lbs, no brakes on the trailer)
when we went to more traditional campsites.

An AWD Aerostar I'll bet.

I'd only have two questions of the test.
1. How old are you?
2. Do you have a 4WD vehicle?
Answer #1 with any number less than 50 or answer yes to #2 would be
an automatic failing grade, and the authorities would add that
person to the list of clowns to be rounded up until the danger
passes.
Hmm. I'd have failed that on both counts during much of the time
we lived in NH. In fact we had two 4WD vehicles - a Range Rover
and an Aerostar.
