Well, yes - that's why I included it my list of 4WD vehicles :-) When you're taking a group of girl scouts winter camping you want something with a lot of seats (seven, in the Aerostar), and a lot of capacity for all the backpacks, etc. (which is why we chose the XL extended-length variant). But it was a very versatile vehicle - it seated four in comfort in their own individual seats, or we could remove everything except the two front seats and have enough space to carry an 8x4 sheet of wallboard flat on the floor.
The Range Rover was great for getting to the wilderness camp sites (having an emergency vehicle is a requirement for the age groups we were taking camping), and for hauling the old pop-up camper (2500lbs, no brakes on the trailer) when we went to more traditional campsites.
