That's a nice urban scene, has a good feel to it. I think I'd want a
slightly different rendering ... perhaps a little darker as it seems a
touch too bright for an evening/night scene ... but I think you have
plenty to work with in there regardless.
I'll be interested to see if you choose to continue rendering scenes like
this in color. They have a different timbre from B&W work of a similar
vein.
Thanks, Godfrey. I agree with everything you say: It is a bit too bright
for a night scene & the coloring is odd because I got a lot of
purple/magenta in the pic--even in people's hair-so I just did some
desaturation to get rid of it as a quick fix. I did a BW rendering, but I
didn't like it at all. I got excited by this pic because it sparked future
shooting possibilities--and hence quickly posted the pic late last night.
