Not by a long shot. If you go to http://www.red4est.com/party/ and click on the various whiskymas links you can find a couple of discussions of singlemalts. My favorite is Lagavulin 16yo. My second tier include Glen Rothes, Highland Park, Balvenie In general I tend to like everything from Glen Livet except for The Glenlivet, which is one of my least favorite (and oddly my original preferred scotch). My favorite "midrange", in character and price is Aberlour. My favorite inexpensive "party" scotch is Bowmore Legend. The one Irish that I particularly like is Tulamore Dew. I hope to get the house reconstructed enough to have a scotch tasting sometime in the next couple of months.
