Then you may appreciate that a friend suggest a nomme du net that I've used off and on: "Henry O. Farad".
Well, if you used "O. Henry Farad" you could get some literature mileage out of it, too! :-)
I find so much of the pleasure of photography to be the experience of shooting. One of the things I like about my limiteds so much is the way that they feel.
For me, it's more the sight picture through the viewfinder when the shutter trips and knowing I got the shot I was looking for (most of my shooting is auto racing).
It's cheaper than the hobby that I'm taking a financial hiatus from: http://red4est.com/miata http://red4est.com/jasmine
Um, yeah. http://NutDriver.org ... I'm "Lefty", my brother is "Righty". We're renting a Miata for a February event at Road Atlanta (I'll run in ITA, he'll run in SM) so I don't have to get off my lazy ass so soon and get the IT7 RX-7 running.
If I look at it realistically a weekend of racing costs about $600 by the time the smoke clears. For that, I could buy a pretty nice lens every month and still come out ahead. Problem is that's the sort of logic that gets me saving way more money that I can afford.
Add photography, women, computers, and guns, to the racing and I'd need Bill Gates' income to really stay up to date on all of them at the same time. :-)
Someone recently threw out references to peso and paw, my guess is that they're acronyms.
There's a link at the bottom of each message that'll take you to a page with FAQ and related information for the PDML. IIRC, it contains at least the more common of the PDML-specific acronyms, like PAW, PESO, and GESO. It also has information on the for sale and ebay customs of the list.
