I watched a cousin of mine exchanging harsh words with another driver about parking spots, in german... looks a nice language for that kind of situation. Now telling her of your love is far from my idea of romantic speech... EEERCKLLEEBBEDEEERCK! One may get injured in the process... ;-)

Ok, this is not meant to offend anyone. We can't help but notice the strange sounds of some languages - I had such hard time with some sounds in french I simply gave up the language in school, sticking to english. Wich BTW is completely different from portuguese, while french and spanish share with portuguese a closer relationship. As a child I watched my parents learning german, and quite simply couldn't articulate the sounds. Guess that's just my fault, as german children speak german quite easily, even from young ages...
