Yeah, the rule of having someone in front of you looking the other way
is in the top three. If you see them ducking, it's a good clue that
bad shit is happening behind you.

I suspect that you also try to keep an eye on the communicators and if
you see them reaching for the mike or grabbing a flag that's a good
clue.

I would also make a habit of calling out the numbers of cars as they
passed, just to keep myself reminded of where they are in the order,
and to make it easier to callin the number of the guy who just had an
expensive lesson in the laws of physics.
