A friend of mine has one in the states and was rather fond of it. Now it lies on the shelf. He feels that the optics are very good but the body is not up to the same level of Quality. In addition, the rangefinder base is very short which leads to focusing errors (wide open) with the longer lens.
A limited Spotmatic would be nice and would be on my must have list. It is strange as I have 8 bayonet cameras from the K1000 through the LX and the old Spotmatics still get the most usage. Perhaps they will come into their own when they get to be middle age or senior citizens like the Spotmatics.
