Every so often, I have a bittersweet moment whent I wish my dad were
still alive. He raced MGs and lived in New York back in the
50's. Since one of his pet phrases was "chowder marching society", I
can't help but think that if chowder were around back then, Dad knew
about it.

I don't have any good pictures of it, but my MG wears the grill badge
of the club my Dad raced MGs with back then, the triple S, CBDS, or
the South Shore Sports Car and Beer Drinking Society.

I'll bet he did. Some folks in SMOG (Sprite Midget Owner's Group)
liked to talk about how in his 80's he got in trouble for skinny
dipping in a hotel pool at midnight with a couple of cute women in
their 20's.
