Thanks Boris, and also Bob and Christine.

I thought I'd mention that the Aurora Borealis photos were hard to get, because I broke my K10D and DA 50-135 while taking them. I dropped them onto some ice and rocks and the lens broke from the camera, and the viewfinder glass also broke. This happened before I took the Aurora pictures and I had a bit of a difficult time seeing what I was shooting through the viewfinder when I took them, both because the glass was cracked and it was very dark. I took from this the knowledge that sometimes it's not a good idea to cross ice covered slopes in the dark, especially when it's -20 degrees C (-4 F). The insurance covered the repairs to the K10D and replacing the DA 50-135, but I had to wait 2 months to get them back. I have now officially suffered for the Arts.

I looked through the "Landscape" gallery and couldn't find even one
picture which I wouldn't want to print big and hang on the wall.

Those Aurora Borealis pictures are amazing.

We're in the final stages of getting the book together - Bill and Scott are contemplating the order of the photos as I write this (I hope!) - and I'm putting together the page that lists all the photographers. I'm going to list each photographer and contact information so that anyone who sees your work in the book and wants to offer you large sums of money for more of your work (it could happen...) has a way of reaching you.

If you've got a blog, Photo.net account, Flickr account or a web site of your own, please email me with the URL and I'll include it. I've got a lot of you accounted for already, but not everyone...

Only one URL per participant, please ;-)
