I thought I'd mention that the Aurora Borealis photos were hard to get,
because I broke my K10D and DA 50-135 while taking them. I dropped them onto
some ice and rocks and the lens broke from the camera, and the viewfinder
glass also broke. This happened before I took the Aurora pictures and I had
a bit of a difficult time seeing what I was shooting through the viewfinder
when I took them, both because the glass was cracked and it was very dark.
I took from this the knowledge that sometimes it's not a good idea to cross
ice covered slopes in the dark, especially when it's -20 degrees C (-4 F).
The insurance covered the repairs to the K10D and replacing the DA 50-135,
but I had to wait 2 months to get them back. I have now officially suffered
for the Arts.

I looked through the "Landscape" gallery and couldn't find even one
picture which I wouldn't want to print big and hang on the wall.
