The toll from the fires isn't quite that bad, but bad enough. 108
confirmed dead as of Monday morning with over 750 homes destroyed.
Several small towns now exist in name only. It's being reported as
the
worst natural disaster in Australia's history in terms of deaths.

oops, I meant to type 84 dead, but missed the mark on it. I'm glad it
isn't 854, but sad that it's over 100.
