Hi, It's that time of year when we look back over the previous 12 months and recoil in horror at how much we've paid for film and d&p (for those without darkrooms, ie., me).
So, I was wondering about giving up on the print lark totally, and just shooting slides from now on. Then, as current ink-jets seem to have passed the PDML challenge ;-) maybe I should get a film scanner and an inkjet and do up the "good" pictures on that. I cannot do "real" darkroom work for practical reasons, so scan and print is the only way of "doing-it-yourself" that I have open to me. I guess that the better colour rendition of the slide material could get me up to or better than most colour prints. (B&W I can get done "develop-only", or I could finally have a look at Agfa Scala film ;-) ) What do you all think of this idea? -- Kristian - This message is from the Pentax-Discuss Mail List.
