That's what I thought. But this means that once you have entered a correction for a given lens, you have 1 slot less for another lens forever. So, imagine that the new 16-50 works fine without any correction. He will have to adjust the offset to zero, no problem, but then he has not liberated the slot for another lens, does he?

The camera won't recognize the serial No. of the lens, hence you just have to check whether the new lenses are OK with the already entered corrections for the previous ones of the same model. If not, just adjust focus offset as needed.
