One of the many strange things the power zoom lenses can do on a body 
with the right electrical contacts.  I don't remember which one it 
described, but the power zoom lenses could keep an object the same size 
in the viewfinder as it moved, zoom during exposure for a tunnel-y 
movement effect, remember focus and zoom positions if you needed to 
quickly change from one to the other and back again (I think the example 
in the manual was if you were shooting a baseball game and wanted to 
preset zoom and focus on first and third base so you could quickly move 
from one to the other without fiddling)... Were there more features?
