Carlos, This question appeared in PDML during the first half of 2001. Someone wrote that yes, you must use one of the filters; the filter is part of the lens formula. I have assumed that this is true. I don't have a problem on my Super Programs, so I've never felt the need to remove it. Thanks for sharing your unfortunate experience.
