I forgot to mention, it's the older 60B Manuel focus version... And the
TC is the Tamron 1.4x which is apparently in rather rough shape (the
coating is going).

Haven't used mine in a few years, it's currently buried behind towers
of packed boxes in the Family Room. (Don't movers understand that a
backpack and a sealed hardened shipping container should not be the
first thing put into the corner of a room?)
The price seem reasonable for a lens that cost $1400 15+ years ago.
TC's cost between $150 - $200 new. Just be sure if focuses very easily
and smoothly (feels loose and sloppy), or the camera's AF will have a
hard time, maybe stall.
