I just ran across a *RUMOR* (who knows??) that the future K30D will be
22MP with a square format sensor.
Possibly a K20D derived body with a sensor derived from the abandoned
645D project?
I realize I'm probably a day late and a dollar short finding this (as
usual), and you've all already discounted the *RUMOR*, but it's news to me.
I think it could work.
