Sorry, but every time you get underwater the different media (water vs air) causes the subjects to appear larger and closer - so you need to think wider underwater than on air. Positive side effect, the less water between you and your subject, better the image - even clear and pure water degrades the image, and the only place you get really pure and clear water is very, very close to a river starting point (english failed here). Even in the open ocean there is always enough stuff in the water to degrade the image noticeably.
The lenses you suggested would result too long for most uses underwater. A proper all-use lens for underwater should be around 20~40mm (FF), or 14~26mm (APS). For the clearest possible water you may go to some ponds in central Florida, and some rivers in Brasil. Yes, there are other places... but I know those two better. LF Larry Colen escreveu: ...snip...
Or: A fully waterproof camera that uses an APS sensor. It comes with a fixed mount lens, but you have your choice of 31/1.8 a 55/1.4 or a 77/1.8.
