Thank you sir. > Some technical details, perhaps?? Sure: D700, Smegma 24-70mm f2.8 @ 26mm, 602 seconds @ f5.6, ISO 500. It was bloody hot that night (30+°C). The conditions proved that the D700's legendary noise performance isn't helped one bit by high ambient temperatures. As a result a bit of photoshoppery was needed to tame the hot pixels that couldn't possibly be passed off as stars :-) Cheers, Dave > > On Sun, 22 Feb 2009 20:58:20 +0900, "David Savage" <[email protected]> > said: >> G'day All, >> >> More of the same from me from my Goldfields trip: >> >> <http://flickr.com/photos/disavage/3298428351/> >> >> Direct link: (~205kb) >> <http://farm4.static.flickr.com/3355/3298428351_72b1fb07e9_o.jpg> >> >> Enjoy. >> >> Cheers, >> >> Dave -- PDML Pentax-Discuss Mail List [email protected] http://pdml.net/mailman/listinfo/pdml_pdml.net to UNSUBSCRIBE from the PDML, please visit the link directly above and follow the directions.
