I don't know cinepaint, but will agree that color management is the big hurdle, and the one that caused me to give up and get a mac for photo editing. It is nice, however, that security discussions on Linux are of an entirely different flavor than Windows. -- Photographs are like sentences, the best ones have both subjects and verbs.
