Over the past 20 or 30 years, one of Canada's most militant unions has
been the Canadian Union of Postal Workers (CUPW). We've had more than
our share of nation-wide postal strikes (almost always, it seems,
around Christmas - more than a co-incidence?), but local wildcats are
quite common as well. They, too, seem very protective of their jobs -
then again, who wouldn't be?

I guess I'm just saying that the behaviour that she saw is not just
restricted to the USA.

cheers,
