~Nick David Wright http://pedalingprose.wordpress.com/ ============== I still think books may be around for a long time, if not as long as mankind lasts. I find it very uncomfortable to read long, long blocks of text with a backlit screen/monitor, what have you. I like the light coming down on the page not behind it. Much easier on my eyes. And I don't think I am the only one, that's why I think things like Kindle haven't really taken off. Best selling books still do rather well. Newspapers, that's another story. But if they go I'd worry more about not having enough independent news sources, more than the paper thing.
