Laundering a Domke F2

The subject says it all ... has anyone around here tried to launder one 
of the canvas camera bags like the Domke F2?  One my my cats, uh, 
"desecrated" my F2.  Luckily the top cover was closed, so the bag and 
the rear pocket took the damage.
