=========== Okay, that explains a lot. I have no idea what all those acronyms are anyway. When I was buying my monitor (hmmm, about three years ago), not sure they were being promoted as much then as now. I didn't get the monitor for photography per se, while I like to take photographs, not all my decisions are really centered around that. I got it for readability, since I read and write on the Net a lot. And I am not always willing to drop big bucks just for a hobby. (I've already dropped enough.) Maybe I'll google someday and find out what IPS is. ;-) I much preferred CRTs to LCDs anyway, but when I went to buy my monitor you really couldn't find any CRTs locally. I still would prefer a CRT. :-) I don't like the angle thing on an LCD. Obviously there's a lot more to this, thanks for making that clear.
