I'm still looking at scanners. I think I'm going to go with the Epson V300. It's gotten good reviews from just about everywhere that I've looked and it appears to be just what I'm looking for. And the price is right.
But I noticed that the Epson package no longer includes Photoshop Elements, so I'm wondering does the Epson software work as a standalone program? Or will I need a separate image editor to access the scanner software?
