That would be nice. How about the prophoto color space?
Colorspace is a processing output specification.
You can render any camera's RAW files into RGB files conforming to
ProPhoto RGB colorspace today.
Dynamic range is what is needed, and obtaining it goes hand in hand
with obtaining more signal to noise.
