I presume you are using this on a 1.5 crop sensor like the K20D ? The angle of view and the size of the sensor means you are not exploiting your 21mm lens to its maximum potential. The angle of view on a K20D with a 21mm lens is similar to using a 31mm lens on film or 36X24 sensor. Here is a 15mm lens on a 1.3 crop sensor: <http://www.cottysnaps.com/snaps/landscapes/images/pic25.html> So the angle of view is similar to a 20mm lens on 35mm film or 36X24 sensor - and even this is still not fulfilling the lens' design capabilities. If you are shooting film, then 15mm may be wider than you would want - 21mm is plenty wide enough for most people. Having used the K15mm 3.5 on film, 1.5 and 1.3 crop sensors, I wouldn't want to be without it! -- Cheers, Cotty ___/\__ || (O) | People, Places, Pastiche ||=====| http://www.cottysnaps.com _____________________________ -- PDML Pentax-Discuss Mail List [email protected] http://pdml.net/mailman/listinfo/pdml_pdml.net to UNSUBSCRIBE from the PDML, please visit the link directly above and follow the directions.
