Damn. I got smoked out!

Tho I was born in Chicago I left shortly after learning to walk, to St. Joe MI for a few years, then on to Long Island, NY. So I beg off being familiar with the contraction of Lake Shore Drive. From several visits 55 years ago and photos I've seen in the interim, I have a mental picture of the road, curving along the Lake Michigan shoreline.

Now back to my history lessons...

Christine,
You've got to let them in on the secret.
LSD is the acronym for Lake Shore Drive,
a 6 lane highway up the north shore of Chicago's lakefront.
It's conjested every morning and evening rush, but a beautiful drive.
It was imortalized in some song or another, but not very 'imortalized' I guess.
