That's the refutation for an assertion that there is no objective
reality, isn't it?

More like an assertion that there is objective reality and that there is a pretty easy way to test it.


Some years ago, I rented a room in a house for a few months; the
landlord was a small church, and they didn't want to spend any money on
having the fire extinguishers charged and otherwise conforming to the
fire code because God wouldn't allow anything bad to happen.

Then there are all those people who sincerely know that people taking
pictures of trains, or public structures, just must be terrorists.

Finding someone who will sincerely assert -- though I hope not by
stepping in front of the bus! -- that enough faith will protect you from
anything isn't that hard, either.

Hopefully as a group, they fall prey to Darwinism before they pass on the stupid gene to their offspring.
