I've used both, but I like the knobs & button interface of the G10. Very easy to change exposure & focus manually. It's also built like a brick thunderbox.
Also the Leica/Panny RAW format is proprietary (or it was the last time I checked. You have to use the supplied RAW converter. This may have changed).
