Dependingt on the age of your "Revue" lens, it may have been manufactured by Elop-Werke GambH, Flensburg, Germany. (Elop is an acronym for Elektro-Optische-Werke.) ELOP-Werke was a small enterprise in Northern West Germany in the post-WWII period. This company manufactured a single SLR - the Ucaflex, introduced in 1950. Production ended in 1952 when ELOP was absorbed by Agfa. The Ucaflex is listed as having an interchangeable 40.1mm thread. Considering the limited production of the Ucaflex it is hard to believe that they created a 400 in this lens mount. Other lenses are not mentioned in this reference. Some K-mount cameras by Chinon were also marketed under the Revue name in Europe in the 1980's. So were a couple of Mamiyas and a Yashica but these had their own company's proprietary mounts.
Sort of a non-answer, wasn't it <grin>. Regards, Ed M. - This message is from the Pentax-Discuss Mail List. To unsubscribe, go to http://www.pdml.net and follow the directions. Don't forget to visit the Pentax Users' Gallery at http://pug.komkon.org .
