Lots of work needed.

If you purchased the camera with a major credit card (AmEx gold or equivalent), you might check what the account features.

In '96 while on sabbatical, I'd just acquired a brand new Rollei 35 Classic Platinum in London, paying for it with a trade and my AmEx card. When I got to Italy, a child of the people I was staying with bumped my arm as I took it out of the bag and that flung it across the terrace where it bounced against the concrete wall and onto the tile flooring. The repair estimate was $900 ($1800 camera...), but I discovered it was covered as part of the "Purchase and Loss Protection" included with the account. That made me happy... :-)

I didn't really expect them to. I have found shooting against an
overcast sky to be nearly impossible. Too much backlight for the
subject lighting.

Shooting in heavily backlit conditions has always been tricky ... !
