Frankie:
I use the 28mm f3.5 SMCT, and I find it to be very sharp.  I don't have the 
35mm f3.5 SMCT, but I do have the f2.  I use both lenses outdoors for the 
most part, between f4 and f8.  They are excellent lenses.  I shoot color neg 
film, and enlarge full-frame to 8 x12.  Neither lens has ever disappointed me.
